June 24-26, 2025 Camping Trip

E.C. Manning – Mule Deer Camping Trip

This trip was a lot of fun.  This was our first time to the Mule Deer Campground and it permitted wood campfires where I played guitar, we sang songs, and enjoyed the warm summer evening.
Sunny, bright days allowed for hiking up to the falls, relaxing around the campsite while reading a book, and just enjoying B.C.’s great outdoors.
We had an RV and a tent on our site, met friends who came up to join us at the dinners -all outdoor BBQs with additional cooking from Iain on the 4 burner RV stove–and met many new camping friends.  Some of these ski and may become a part of our ski club.
The campground, although near the highway, is far enough inside the park not to have been an issue.  The real bonus was running, drinkable water, flush toilets, and wash basins to do your dishes if you were in a tent, far different from Cold Springs at EC Manning.
Sunny days and warm nights, other than on our last day, when it clouded over and then a light drizzle came, on and off, after 7 p.m., but that did not make much difference.
Looking forward to more camping this summer, especially at the end of summer, our long weekend trip, and an extension to Osoyoos BC!
Yes, weather you have an RV to share, or a Tent to share, or on your own, camping in B.C. beautiful outdoors, and the adventure or relaxation you experience are memories you will cherish your life long.  Plan to join us next time!!!
